E-mail Listserve:
In becoming a member, you automatically are added to the OGITA E-mail Listserve.
It allows members immediate access for emergencies and notifications from or to all OGITA members.
Monthly Roundtable Forums: OGITA meets monthly at various host locations throughout the state,
generally on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 11:00am-1:00pm. Members may attend in person or via phone,
when available. Lunch arrangements are
announced per meeting. Watch the calendar on this website for future meetings and announcements. OGITA members will also get an email from the Listserve on meeting announcements.
OGITA Conferences: Members get free access to the yearly Conference and smaller training conferences held throughout the year. Sessions and vendors are pre selected by members by polls on the OGITA web site. So far the last three OGITA spring conferences have had over 85 million dollars of vendor-city sales. The conferences are well attended and members come looking for ideas and the right vendor to accomplish it.
OML Conference Sessions: During the OML Conference in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, OGITA presents sessions and roundtable
discussions based on current and future technology. OGITA also has an information booth which was one of the most popular booths.
We plan to continue providing IT-related sessions in coming conferences,
as well as attend other OML group events (such as the City Manager's Conferences) and the Oklahoma Public Safety conference
to represent IT-related initiatives.
